Our aluminium balustrade range is the largest in Perth, with 17 modular and welded systems available in powder coat, anodised, and heritage decorative finishes. Aluminium is the most versatile material choice for Perth conditions; lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and available in any colour through powder coating. Systems range from economy options like the Metforce Pioneer and Mooro through to premium architectural systems like the Metforce Magi Alu and Kardinya. All aluminium systems are rated to a minimum of C3 load rating and comply with AS 1170.1 and the National Construction Code. Metforce stocks and fabricates grade 316 marine-grade stainless steel balustrade systems designed for the harshest Australian conditions. Our stainless range includes frameless and semi-frameless glass balustrades using spigots, planar fixings, and channel systems, as well as traditional tube and wire rope configurations. Finishes include brushed, polished, and coloured stainless steel. With load ratings from C3 through to C5, our stainless steel systems are specified on projects ranging from coastal residential developments and pool surrounds through to high-traffic commercial staircases and public infrastructure. Every stainless steel balustrade is fully welded in our Darch workshop for maximum structural integrity.
Our steel balustrade range is engineered for heavy-duty commercial and industrial applications where maximum structural performance is required. Systems include hot-dip galvanised and powder coated options rated to C5; the highest standard load rating for balustrades in Australia. Steel balustrades are commonly specified for fire stairs, loading docks, commercial staircases, and heritage restorations where the project demands strength over aesthetics. The Metforce Magi Steel and Moddex-style systems are our most popular steel options, both available with a range of handrail and baluster configurations.
Frameless and semi-frameless glass balustrades provide unobstructed views while meeting full structural and safety requirements. Metforce offers glass balustrade systems using stainless steel spigots, aluminium channels, and planar standoff fixings; each suited to different aesthetic and structural requirements. Glass panels range from 12mm toughened through to 25.52mm laminated, depending on the application and load rating required. Glass balustrades are ideal for balconies, staircases, pool fencing, and privacy screens where maximising light and views is a priority.
Every Metforce balustrade system is designed and manufactured to comply with Australian Standards AS 1170.1 (structural actions) and the National Construction Code. Load ratings across our range cover C3 for standard residential applications through to C5 for high-traffic commercial and public infrastructure.
